Select the options you are interested in to create your own bespoke report. The report contains further information and recommendations for next steps.

Any information you provide today will be treated in a careful and secure manner, as set out in our privacy policy. Your anonymised data may be shared with our research staff and our funders, Northern Powergrid and National Grid Electricity Distribution, to improve support for households.

How we will use your information

Any information you provide will not be used for marketing purposes.
We will send you a log-in link to your email address so you can access the Energy Choices Tool. We will securely store the responses you give to questions included within the tool for 12 months.
We will use your postcode to find out if you live in a National Grid Electricity Distribution or Northern Powergrid area. These Distribution Network Organisations manage electricity distribution in South West England, the Midlands, South Wales and North East England. This will not affect your use of the tool.
If you live in a National Grid Electricity Distribution or Northern Powergrid area we will share anonymous data with the relevant Distribution Network Operator for their internal reporting and to inform future services. Your name and full post code will never be linked to your data.
We will ask you for some personal information (e.g. age, ethnicity) at the end of the tool. We will use anonymous data to understand who is using the tool, to inform future services. Anonymous data will also be shared with the relevant Distribution Network Operator for internal reporting and to inform future services. You can choose to opt out of providing this information.
Centre for Sustainable Energy and/or an independent partner Explain may call you to check if you are happy with the service provided. You can choose if you want to opt out of providing feedback by phone at the end of the tool.
We will contact you via email for feedback (a short survey), to help us improve the tool.
